This dataset is high on our “coolness scale.” It’s nearly 250 mm in width—quite a bit larger than our typical surface roughness measurements. It does an excellent job of showing how longer-wavelength waviness and form can be analyzed.
There are some small areas of bad data which can be repaired with the OmniSurf3D Surface Editor tool. We have a nice video that shows how to use the Editor (on this very data, in fact).
