This plastic surface texture card is based on the VDI 3400 texture reference, which is used for controlling the surface finish of injection molds and the plastic parts they generate for applications in automotive, aircraft, electronics, and consumer goods. Other, similar finish references include SPI, Mold Tech, and Yick Sang.
