We recently acquired three model “LM6708” tapered roller bearing assemblies from different manufacturers.
We decided to have a look at how their surfaces compared, and differed, right out of the box.
This dataset is the FKG bearing, which has a ground surface and several taller/deeper features. Setting the vertical scales equal to each other makes it easier to compare and contrast the surfaces.
